Here, I will share with you my experiences with the "Casual Encounters" section of craigslist.org.
"What's the "CE" section?", you ask? It's where folks post for "no strings attached" (NSA) sexual encounters.
I'm a relative newbie to answering/posting these ads... July '06 was my first venture. I'm not going to go into the "perfect storm" of reasons I posted that first ad. Suffice it to say, I was going through something exceedingly emotional, and I just felt that I desperately needed some way to feel a physical comfort from a man. Any man. And that's what I got - just "some dude."
Ironically, I had never had a one night stand in my life before. Ever. It's true.

Before you attempt another ad on craigslist, or anyplace else, I would recommend you pick up the two books put out by a woman named Regina Thomashauer or "Mama Gena." Simply put, your one entry combined with your comment on my blog raises the concern that your energy would be better spent investing some time into yourself before looking for another person to include in your life. One central theme of Mama Gena's is that once a woman is operating from a position of confidence and power, she will not have to look for a partner, the people will come to her.
